Who we are

Womenade of Concord was founded in 2010 dedicated to helping our neighbors in the City of Concord and surrounding communities.

Womenade of Concord is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of providing immediate, short-term financial assistance up to $500 to individuals and families in need, who reside in our service area. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of donations received go directly to someone in our local community.

The Board is made up of volunteers who donate their time, expertise and voice. With the help of our Board Members, we are able to further enhance and grow our organization within our community. All operating costs are covered by the Board of Directors.

how we help

Womenade works when a Community Validator makes a request on behalf of a person in need. A Community Validator is typically someone working with an individual or family who can verify their need and eligibility for assistance from Womenade, and who will make the request for assistance on their behalf.

Requests remain anonymous and come from our Community Validators.

With the help of our Community Validators, we are able to provide assistance to those who reside in Concord, Bow, Hopkinton, Contoocook, Loudon, Pembroke, Chichester, Canterbury and Boscawen. Out of Area Requests are considered on a case by case basis if there are no other organizations available to provide assistance.

Approval Process

Community Validators will submit a request to Womenade through our online Request Form. This form includes all of the necessary information for our Board to make an informed and timely decision.

Once all the information has been received and processed, Board Members will vote on the request and will get in touch with the Community Validator once a decision has been made.

When requests are approved, Womenade of Concord will pay the vendor directly on behalf of the individual or family in need. Individual items will also be purchased by Womenade and will be provided to the Community Validator for distribution.
