Womenade of Concord was founded in 2010 with the mission of providing immediate, short term ﬁnancial support to neighbors-in-need who are facing a difﬁcult time in their lives. Requests remain anonymous and come from trustworthy sources in the community such as school nurses, guidance counselors, doctor’s ofﬁces, and clergy.
Womenade serves men, women and children in Concord, Bow, Hopkinton, Contoocook, Loudon, Pembroke, Chichester, Canterbury and Boscawen.
100% of your donations to Womenade go directly to those in need.
All operating costs are covered by the Board of Directors.
Womenade of Greater Concord is a non-proﬁt 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.
Womenade works when a community validator makes a request on a behalf of a person in need. A community validator is typically someone working with an individual or family who can verify their need and eligibility for assistance from Womenade, and who will make the request for assistance on their behalf.
We regret that we cannot review requests made by people on behalf of themselves or vendors to be paid (i.e., a landlord). Validators are an important part of our organization because they are the ones that make sure that Womenade doesn’t duplicate the efforts of the other wonderful organizations in our community.
Validators also provide us with the information we need to make an informed and timely decision. Once all the information we need has been received, Board members will vote on the request for assistance and get back to the validator once a decision has been made. Most of our correspondance will take place through email, however in order to move the process forward, we may contact the validator directly via phone.
